Tyler Rankin is a theatrical designer and 3D digital artist originally from Flint, Michigan, now based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he works as a designer for Atomic Design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Michigan–Flint and a Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from the University of Florida.
Tyler’s career began in the world of theatre, designing sets and lighting for stage productions while honing his skills as a scenic artist and technician. His Theatrical work has taken him across Michigan, Texas, Cape Cod, New York City, and Florida.
At Atomic, Tyler has expanded his design expertise into the world of live events creating custom trade show booths, immersive event environments, and modular scenic solutions that transform client spaces. He specializes in 3D modeling, using a range of digital tools to visualize and communicate designs with striking realism.
